IBM Recruitment Process VIT 2012

 IBM will be visiting VIT for a combined campus recruitment is scheduled on 21^st May 2012 (Monday) at 8.30 a.m. at Anna Auditorium.

 

Branches:

B.Tech (CSE, IT, ECE, EEE) and MCA 

Eligibility Criteria

6 or 60% CGPA in pursuing degree and no current arrears

 CTC Offered

 Rs. 2 lakhs per annum

Students should carry the following requirements

1. ID Card is mandatory

2. Students should attend the test in formals

3. Resume, passport size photo, all mark lists and certificates are mandatory.

Important Note:  

Only registered and unplaced students of VIT Placement consortium would be allowed to participate in the selection process.

 

Job Role         : Remote  Infrastructure Management

- Provide Technical solutions to the external customers

- Awareness of basic networking concepts and technologies.

- Proficient in network connectivity troubleshooting, TCP/IP, Dial-up, Token Ring, Ethernet, LAN/WAN

- Understanding of operating systems, Windows 2000/NT/XP, configuration options and Troubleshooting

- Browser Support - Internet Explorer

- Ability to identify basic hardware parts and aware of basic hardware concepts

- User level familiarity with at least one e-mail client - Outlook, Notes etc.

- Skilled in commercially standard software applications and major desktop operating systems.

 

**This role is NOT into BPO domain.
